Solar Storm And Aurora Borealis

Solar flares emit bursts of electromagnetic energy that hit Earth's magnetic field. We are experiencing a solar storm and the peak should be in 2013. GPS Satelites can be affected by these bursts of electromagnetic radiation. Scientists say that this cosmic activity will make it possible to see Aurora Borealis - the Northern Lights - further south. Being able to see it of course depends on the weather, the rain, the cloud patterns and so on.
